Our Artisan Leather Process
We use consciously sourced, vegetable-tanned leather — a traditional and time-intensive process that avoids harsh chrome or heavy metals. Our hides are tanned using natural plant tannins, and each color is derived from organic dyes and sun-curing techniques that allow the leather to evolve beautifully over time.

- 🔥 Sun-cured & air-dried: We don’t rush the process — each hide is cured without ovens or synthetics.
- 🐄 Ethically sourced: We partner with small-batch tanneries in Mexico that use hides from livestock raised for food — never farmed for leather alone.
- ✋🏽 Made by hand: From leather cutting to stitching to edge-finishing, every bag is artisan-made in small batches.
- 🌎 Minimal waste: Scraps are re-used or repurposed wherever possible.
Because of this natural process, color may vary slightly between bags, and each piece will develop a soft patina over time — a signature of real craftsmanship.
